quote:
Barman: there are definitely some issues within our health care system, but I don't think they would be so noticeable, per se, if it were not for the pseudo-capitalist system in the US. By that I mean ours is generally slower. Emergent care is probably the same (you don't wait any longer in emergency rooms, nor do you have to wait for tests if there appears to be urgency) but if, for example, you needed an MRI on your knee, it will probably take three months or so, unless you were in serious pain.

Idjit when was the last time there was a medical breakthrough in Canada? When was the last time any solcialized medicine contributed anything new at all to the industry? Ever?

Who cares? Right you get yours cheap subsidized by the government, so who cares if the Us is the only country left that can advance medical care?

Who cares if all of medical innovation is financed on the backs of american consumers?

All the world's intelligence obviously comes from us, right? Afterall who said Hussein DID NOT POSSESS ANY WMD?

That is why there is one super power left, hardly has as much to do with migjht as it does the contributio0ns to the existance of mankind.
